The shortlist for the Strokestown International Poetry Competition has just been posted on their website. Sadly my name is not there. I notice Peter Goulding, who blogs here, has made the list again this year in the humorous Percy French poem section and that Heather Brett of Windows who has been involved with us in Meath Cavan LitLab has made the poetry shortlist. Well done to both and commiserations to the rest of us.
No time to cry into my coffee, all nearly ready for the launch of Boyne Berries tonight, hope to see the same Peter Goulding there.
