I got this invite recently from Cavan writer Rebecca O'Connor. She won the Geoffrey Dearmer prize in 2003. I have no other information about the magazine, can't find it on the internet.You are cordially invited to the launch of The Moth, Ireland's new arts and literature magazine.

Saturday 29 May, 8pm at The Abbey Bar, Coleman Road, Cavan.
We will ALSO be launching The Moth at the Flat Lake Festival 4-6 June, with recitals, portrait-drawing, absinthe-drinking, Limerick-writing, etc.

Dear Michael: Great launch event! Heard L'absinthe has become popular amongst the literary circle. In art history class we were told all the artists went blind from it. I guess the formula is much improved? Definitely sounds like a grand time! I'll make like a moth and stowaway in my old grannies trunk back to the emerald green! Excellent title: "The Moth". Intriguing and beguiling!
Maybe it should have been absent-drinking!
