Dublin Poetry Events

Kimberley Campanello (who is one of the Poetry Ireland Introductions 2011 poets) and Rachel Lehrman are giving a reading with the Wurm im apfel series at 8 pm on Tuesday (today) at the Cat and Cage pub, Drumcondra. More information here.

On Thursday and Friday the Contemporary Music Centre on Fishamble Street is screening Scenes from Crow, a major work of contemporary music by composer Benjamin Dwyer. It is based on Ted Hughes' Crow poems and uses visual images by David Farrell. Dwyer will give a lecture on Thursday at 6 pm in the Contemporary Music Centre. The screening will be on Friday at 6 pm in the Contemporary Music Centre. more information here.

OOPS! Corrected. 1911 was a good year for poetry.
